One of the ways that He usually comes through for me in moments such as these are when He reveals interesting Bible verses to me. These verses usually give me much hope and encouragement, which then gives me strength to get through the next day.
So, whether you're weary from school, work, or just responsibilities in general, here are 5 verses that will help you find strength to carry on.
1) Philippians 4:11-13
I know that this might be one of the most over-quoted verses in the Bible, but it still gives me so much encouragement when I feel overwhelmed. It is so great to know that God will always be there to strengthen you when you need it most. It doesn't matter if you're living well or living less than well, God will come through for you and allow you to do what you need to do to get through the day.
2) Psalm 28:7-8
Again, the Lord is a great source of strength and is always willing to help you through your troubles. There is nothing too large for Him to handle. Just make sure that you thank Him for His provision because you don't want to end up taking Him for granted. He is not just a magical genie, but He is your Lord and Savior, who is God over all.
3) Isaiah 40:29-31
This is another verse that is quoted a lot, but still holds a lot of important meaning. This is a great verse because it highlights how people who don't follow the Lord will not be able to be as strong as those who do. It's nice to know that if people are against you, you can find the strength, through God, to get through the situation.
4) Psalm 46:1-3
Finding strength in god means that we don't have to be afraid about what the future holds. Since God is in control of all things, He will help His followers survive what they are going through. It's great to know that nothing can shake someone with God on their side!
5) 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
An interesting thing about God's strength is that it almost magnifies our own weaknesses. We may be self-conscious about the fact that we're not good at something, but God can actually use our weaknesses for His glory. We have all that we need in God, which allows us to be "content with weaknesses, etc." If it isn't encouraging to know that God can use our weaknesses for good, I don't know what is.
Next time you are going through different struggles, remember that there is an enormous amount of Bible verses and passages to help you out. God is so good, and His Word reflects that. I know He has helped me so much in the past by getting me through the rough seasons that life throws at me, especially in the past few months as I've dealt with a lot of changes in my life.
